Raised in a town of 500 people in the mountains of the Hudson Valley, by the time she was 16, Baila Eve Zisman (nickname Bay) could survive in the wilderness and was ready to get out of it.
In search of arts, culture, and people she didn’t recognize, she headed south to New York City and put her small-town observation skills to use writing absurdist scripts in NYU Tisch’s dramatic writing department.
With broad experiential knowledge in the field of psychology, specifically as it pertains to child development (thanks to her family) Baila likes to approach challenges by examining the emotional root of the problem and is constantly searching for new perspectives through which to view the world.
In her spare time, Baila enjoys cutting google-estimated walking times in half, playing whatever instrument is available, and finding new ways to creatively engage with New York City and its inhabitants.
